A volume fill-in, also known as a lash fill or eyelash extension fill for volume lashes, is a maintenance procedure to refresh and maintain the volume and fullness of eyelash extensions created using the volume lash technique. The volume technique involves attaching multiple lightweight extensions to each individual natural lash, creating a more voluminous and dramatic lash look. Here's a step-by-step overview of what a volume fill-in typically involves: Assessment: The lash technician begins by assessing the current state of the volume eyelash extensions to identify any gaps, extensions that have come loose, or areas that require additional extensions. Cleansing: The eye area and lashes are gently cleansed to remove any makeup residue, oils, or debris that may affect the adhesion of new extensions. Removing Loose Extensions: Any loose or hanging volume extensions are carefully removed to prepare the lashes for the fill-in process.
